The Dawson Creek Horse Club is open to anyone who Horses around: English or Western. Any member who wants to organize a clinic, show, or other event is welcome to do so. Just bring your ideas and energy to the regular monthly meeting (3rd Thursday of the Month) or contact one of the executive.

To use the Agriplex indoor arena where our clinics and events are held you must be a member of the Horse Council of British Columbia (or Alberta equivalent). Schedule for the Lakota Agriplex(includes Helga's contact information.)

DCHC membership and Waiver Form

For the HCBC:

All club events, in fact any events at the Lakota center, require Horse Council of BC (HCBC) membership. You can go online at this page: HCBC secure online renewal or you can download the form here: HCBC renewal form and send it in with your club membership renewal and we'll send it in for you.

The AGM was held on January 21st and here is the executive:

Pony Club Registration

We are scheduling the membership meeting on Dec. 9 at 6:00. Please bring your completed 2 page membership application AND a copy of your child's BCHC either card or on-line confirmation letter. I have to send the photocopy in with the application.
The cost this year for membership has gone up--national raised their cost and the region that we belong to raised their cost.
So the membership is $200. BUT that extra will help us have another clinic in the spring. We hope to have both a western clinic and a "Tara" clinic.

Membership Form Notes

Please do not use the 2008 Membership form as the subscription rate for the Pacific & Prairie Horse has changed: the 2009 subscription rate is $15.75 NOT $12.72.

Also the Membership form now includes the Waiver as a second page - we need a signed copy of the waiver for you to participate in club events.

Sorry, I had the wrong time listed here, this is now correct: The AGM is January 15th at 7:00 in O'Brian. Supper is at Caruso’s at 5:00pm for those interested.
